Files and text you put into a tool

Almost every tool processes your input in your browser. Files you open, text you paste and results you download stay on your device and are never sent to us. Some tools remember your settings in your browser's local storage so they are there next time; clearing site data removes them.

A handful of browser tools also send our server a one-line usage ping when you run them. It contains the tool's name and nothing you typed or opened.

Tools that use our server

Lookup tools (DNS, WHOIS, domain age, SPF and DMARC checks, the SEO analyzer and report, page, header and redirect checkers, the webhook and HTTP request testers, IndexNow submission and a few others) send what you typed to api.lunchboxhands.com so it can make the request. Those tools say so on the page. For each request we log:

We do not log your IP address with these entries. Short-lived counters keyed by request are kept for about 90 seconds for rate limiting. If you create a shareable SEO report link, that report is stored for 90 days so the link works, then deleted.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and which tools get used (for example, that a copy or download button was clicked, never what was copied). Google Analytics sets cookies and Google processes that data under its own privacy policy. You can block it with any content blocker and every tool keeps working.

Email updates

If you sign up for email updates, your address and the page you signed up on are stored so we can send them. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or email us and we will delete it.

Tips

Tips are taken by Stripe on Stripe's own checkout page. We never see your card details; Stripe shares the amount and the email address you enter there with us.
