SSH Key Generator

Generate SSH key pairs directly in your browser. Ed25519 is the default (short, fast, and what ssh-keygen recommends today); RSA at 2048 or 4096 bits is there for older servers that need it. Add a comment and get a public key in OpenSSH format, ready for authorized_keys. Ed25519 private keys come in OpenSSH format (BEGIN OPENSSH PRIVATE KEY); RSA private keys come as PKCS#8 PEM, which OpenSSH also reads. Everything runs locally using the Web Crypto API — your keys never leave your machine.
