Every kind of printable paper in one place

Instead of hunting for a "printable graph paper PDF" or "college ruled paper template", set the paper up exactly how you want it. The tool covers four families: writing and notes (lined, Cornell, handwriting practice, to-do, half-blank), grids and graph (square, dot, isometric, hexagonal, engineering, semi-log, polar), music and art (staff, guitar tab, chord charts, perspective guides, storyboard, comic panels), and planners and specialty paper (weekly and daily planners, monthly calendars, genkō yōshi, pinyin practice, ledger, and French Séyès ruling).

Precise, print-ready output

The page is drawn in real print units (points), so a 5mm grid is genuinely 5mm on paper. Export a multi-page PDF for a whole pad, a high-resolution PNG for a tablet or note-taking app, or a crisp SVG you can edit further. When printing, choose "Actual size" so the measurements are preserved.

How to use it

  1. Choose a paper type from the grouped list.
  2. Adjust size, orientation, margins, spacing, line thickness, and colour.
  3. Optionally add a header, margin sidebar, page numbers, or watermark.
  4. Download a PDF, PNG, or SVG, or print directly.

Frequently asked questions

Is the generated paper really free to print?

Yes. Every template is generated in your browser and exported as a PDF, PNG, or SVG you can print as many times as you like. There is no signup, watermark, or usage limit — the optional watermark is one you add yourself.

Which paper size should I choose for printing at home?

Pick Letter (8.5×11") in the US and Canada, or A4 elsewhere. Set your margins to at least 8–10mm so nothing is clipped by your printer's unprintable border, and in the print dialog choose "Actual size" (100%) rather than "Fit to page" so the spacing stays exact.

What is the difference between wide, college, and narrow ruled paper?

They are lined papers with different line spacing: wide ruled is about 8.7mm apart, college ruled about 7.1mm, and narrow ruled about 6.35mm. Narrower ruling fits more lines per page. Choose the Lined type and switch the ruling, or set any custom spacing with the slider.

Are my settings or files uploaded anywhere?

No. The whole tool runs locally in your browser — the geometry is drawn on your device and the PDF/PNG/SVG is built there too. Nothing is sent to a server, so it works offline once the page has loaded.

Can I make graph paper with a specific grid size in mm?

Yes. Choose Square grid (or Dot grid, Isometric, Hexagonal, Engineering) and set the Spacing slider to the exact millimetre pitch you need. The preview and every export use that measurement precisely because the page is drawn in real print units.

Why does the PDF have several identical pages?

The Pages control repeats the template so you can print a small pad in one go. Set it back to 1 for a single sheet. Page numbers, if enabled, still count up across the pages.
