Free Seobility Alternative: Single-Page SEO Checks Without an Account

Seobility is strong for site crawls and rank tracking. For quick one-page SEO checks with no account and no daily cap, here is an honest free alternative.

Seobility is a solid SEO suite, and its free Basic plan is more generous than most. But the free single-page SEO Checker runs on a daily quota, and once you use it up, the page tells you to sign up for more. If you only need to check one page at a time, and you need to check a lot of them, you don’t need a project, a crawl budget, or an account. You need a checker that runs whenever you paste a URL. Below is an honest look at what Seobility’s free tier gives you, where it beats us, and where our free tools are a better fit.

All Seobility figures below come from their own pricing page, SEO Checker page and Basic account FAQ, as of October 2026. Plans change, so check their site before you decide.

What Seobility’s free tier includes

Seobility has two free layers.

The SEO Checker analyzes a single URL. Seobility says it “evaluates over 200 SEO-relevant factors,” grouped into meta information, page quality, page and link structure, server configuration, and external factors (backlinks). A tools section on the same page says “Try all of these tools for free and without registration!” The checker also shows a daily counter (“checks left today”), and the checker page lists 5 checks per day for the free Basic plan. Their page doesn’t state a separate number for visitors who aren’t signed in.

The Basic account is free with no time limit and no credit card, but it does need a registration. As of October 2026 it includes:

  • 1 website project
  • 100 pages per crawl
  • 10 tracked keywords
  • 5 standalone tool requests per day
  • A limited website audit

The Basic FAQ says crawls must be started manually, and that you wait between crawls. The FAQ gives two different numbers for that wait (7 days in one answer, 3 days in another), so we won’t pick one for them.

Paid plans start at Premium, 59.90 € per month (excluding VAT), with a 14-day trial. Premium raises the limits to 3 projects, 25,000 pages per crawl, 300 keywords and 50 tool requests per day, and adds things like branded PDF reports and competitor comparison.

Where Seobility wins

Be clear about this before you switch. If your job is a whole website, Seobility does things our tools don’t attempt:

  • Site-wide crawls. Even the free plan crawls up to 100 pages and reports issues across them, like duplicate content between pages. Our tools look at one URL at a time.
  • Rank tracking. Seobility tracks keyword positions over time. We have nothing like it.
  • Backlink data. Their checker looks at external factors such as a weak backlink profile. Our analyzer only reads the page and its server responses.
  • A project dashboard. History, re-crawls and (on paid plans) scheduled crawls and team seats.

If you manage a site and want ongoing monitoring, the Basic plan is a reasonable free start, and Premium is a reasonable upgrade. We’re not trying to replace that.

Where single-page checks win

A lot of SEO work isn’t a site audit. It’s “did the new template ship a canonical tag,” “why does this share card show no image,” or “is staging leaking into the sitemap.” For that kind of question, an account and a project are overhead.

The SEO Analyzer is built for this. Paste a URL and you get a 0 to 100 score, a per-category breakdown, and a “Fix this first” list. It runs 45 checks across 9 categories:

  • Meta tags: title and description (present and length), canonical (present and self-referencing), charset, viewport, lang, favicon, noindex
  • Content: H1 present, single H1, heading hierarchy, empty headings, word count
  • Links: internal links, empty anchors, generic anchor text (“click here”)
  • Images: alt text and explicit dimensions
  • Social: og:title, og:description, og:image, Twitter card
  • Structured data: JSON-LD present, and whether each block parses as valid JSON
  • Security: HTTPS, mixed content, HSTS, CSP, X-Frame-Options, X-Content-Type-Options
  • Crawlability: robots.txt exists and isn’t blocking the page, sitemap declared, found and valid, the page appears in the sitemap, redirect chain, URL hygiene
  • Performance: LCP, INP, CLS and the PageSpeed score, when you run the optional performance test

That’s fewer factors than Seobility’s “over 200.” The trade is focus on the technical checks developers usually care about: security headers checked one by one, JSON-LD that has to actually parse (not just exist), and the full redirect chain. It checks JSON syntax, not schema.org fields. For required fields, use the Structured Data Validator.

There’s no daily quota. The worker that fetches pages does have a rate limit of 10 requests per minute per IP, to stop abuse. If you’re checking pages by hand, you won’t hit it.

You can save the report as a PDF (through your browser’s print dialog), download it as Markdown or JSON, or create a share link that keeps a frozen copy for 90 days. No account on either end.

How it works (and what we log)

Your browser can’t fetch most other sites directly because of CORS. So when you click Analyze, our Cloudflare Worker fetches the page server-side, follows the redirect chain hop by hop, and grabs robots.txt plus the sitemap (the one declared in robots.txt, or /sitemap.xml). It sends all of that back, and the 45 checks run in your browser.

The worker logs each request: the URL you analyzed, the tool name, your country, device type and referrer. We use it to see which tools get used. The report itself isn’t stored unless you make a share link. It also means the analyzer only sees public pages. Anything behind a login, VPN or password won’t load.

Focused tools for one question at a time

The analyzer rolls everything into one score. When you only care about one thing, these single-purpose tools are faster:

  • Meta Tag Analyzer: the title, description, Open Graph and Twitter Card values on a page, with problems flagged.
  • HTTP Header Analyzer: the raw response headers, plus a present-or-missing check for HSTS, CSP, X-Frame-Options and three other security headers.
  • Redirect Checker: every hop with its status code (301, 302, 307, 308), plus flags for long chains and chains that mix HTTP and HTTPS. If the codes are confusing, read 301 vs 302 redirects.
  • Image SEO Checker: every image on the page, with its alt text, dimensions and loading attribute.
  • Sitemap Generator: builds a valid XML sitemap from URLs you enter. It doesn’t crawl your site, so it isn’t a replacement for Seobility’s crawler. It’s for when you already know your URLs.

For a wider list, see free SEO tools for developers. If you’re also weighing SEOptimer, we compared it the same way in a free SEOptimer alternative.

Which one to use

Use Seobility if you want a monitored project: crawls across many pages, keyword rankings, backlinks, and a dashboard you come back to. The free plan is a fair way to start.

Use our tools if your question is about one page, right now, and you’d rather not register or count checks. Paste a URL into the SEO Analyzer, work the “Fix this first” list, and keep the on-page SEO checklist open if you want the reasoning behind each check.
